Welcome to <<Organisation Name>>
"There is a sufficiency in the world for mans need but not for mans greed."
- Mohandas K. Gandhi

Today mankind is helplessly standing at the cross roads. What a tragic comedy! Mother Nature has been generous and merciful. She gave all her gifts to her children in great measure. Alas! The great human tragedy is just nearing our bay. We are at the verge of loosing all of her gifts. Moreover, we are going towards the point of No-return, where on the other side there is nothing but our own extinction.

Human being is the only species in the whole world who thinks that he can control the forces of Mother Nature. In the beginning when the human beings were living in the forest there was harmony in their lives. Mother Nature too was happy in providing for the people who were living according to the plan of the Mother Nature in abundance. People accepted the rules of the nature and went along without any grievances. They used to wake up in the morning when the sun came up and went for sleep when the sun set in. Whatever were available in the forest were made into the food for the growing clan of the human species.

Slowly in the beginning and latter at rapid speed things changed for worst. Due to the greedy and the rebellious nature of the humankind, today the total human species along with the other co-habiting species are facing the catastrophe of mass extinction in the very near future. It´s anybody´s guess how near it would be! Want to make a guess?

Can you imagine what would happen when the globe is heated up beyond the threshold point?

By burning the fossil fuels in enormous quantity that too in a short span of time, humans pump billions of tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2 - the most important greenhouse gas emitted by human activities) and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

These gases create a greenhouse effect, thickening the natural canopy of gases in the atmosphere and causing more heat to become trapped. As a result, the global temperature is increasing, throwing the worlds climate out of its natural balance and into chaos.

The main source of these human-produced greenhouse gases is burning large amounts of fossil fuels for energy production and transport. Changes in land use and deforestation also release more CO2 into the environment. Trees, for example, are natural carbon sinks-they absorb CO2-and when they are destroyed, CO2 is released into the atmosphere.

It is estimated that concentrations of CO2 are 30 percent higher than before the industrial revolution, when the wide scale burning of fossil fuels started. Humans are also creating new greenhouse gases such as hydro fluorocarbons (HFCs) from industrial activities.

We need to do something to save our planet. That too in war footing manner! There is only one earth. We cry for our own survival. If we miss this very last opportunity, there would not be any time even to regret, later in our lives.

The <xyz> (name of the organisation) organisation want <xyz> (name of the location) to be a beacon of proactive, environmental responsibility that will awaken the world to what is possible when people take their future into their own hands and take action to save their environment.

For the past <xyz> (numbers) years, the Organisation has been working in the field of environmental awareness and the protection. We are able to achieve some goals which encourage us to go further in our work.
